At Pirarucú lodge, I caught one of the most unique species to date in fly, the Pirarucú. Once hooked, they perform awesome displays of their strength with violent head thrashes and occasional jumps. A hard fighting fish that can grow to over 400 lbs. is definitely worth a go on a fly.
